Lakeland Woman Dies In Interstate Crash After Car Catches Fire: Report
The woman was trying to change lanes when she hit another car and a barrier wall before her car burst into flames, a media report says.
LAKELAND — A 68-year-old woman whose car crashed into another car, and then, a concrete barrier before catching fire on Interstate 4 has died, News Channel 8 reported Monday.
Citing the Florida Highway Patrol, the media outlet reported the driver of the second car was not injured in the late Sunday night crash near State Road 400.
The woman, who was not identified, was attempting to change lanes when she crashed into the other car, the outlet reported.
