AUBURNDALE, FL β A new promotional initiative to help Polk County businesses that have been impacted by the coronavirus pandemic in the past year has recently launched by Visit Central Florida.
βIt isnβt a big secret that the last year has been one of the most challenging on record for the business community,βMark Jackson, the director of Polk County Tourism and Sports Marketing, said. βThis pass is just one way weβre trying to help mitigate the damage done from the Coronavirus pandemic.β
The Polk Savings Pass has more than 30 offerings from local restaurants, shops and entertainment venues. To obtain the pass, simply go to the VisitCentralFlorida.org website and click on the βPolk County Savingsβ link on the bottom of the page or navigate directly to explore.visitcentralflorida.org/polk.

Or, if youβd rather use a QR code, pick up a rack card at a number of retailers in the area. Once you've signed up, youβll receive a link either via email or text. From there, you can add the passport to your devices home screen for easy access.
βQuite simply, the pass allows you to experience more for less,β said Jackson. βAnd whether you live here or are visiting, weβre sure youβll be back more often, which in turn will help local businesses.β
