Polk County Division's Office Reopens To Walk-Throughs
The Polk County Division's Bartow office has reopened to walk-through customers with coronavirus safety precautions in place.

- BARTOW, FL — The Polk County Division's Bartow office reopens on Tuesday to walk-through customers with coronavirus safety precautions in place, building officials said.
Visitors are encouraged by the staff to wear masks and social distance in the waiting areas.
Plexiglass has been placed in certain areas to help with social distancing. Hand sanitizer stations have also been added.

- Applications with plans: 8 a.m. to noon
- Mobile home applications: 8 a.m. to noon
- Applications without plans: 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Permit applications must be complete before entering the permit queue by the cutoff times listed above. Cut-off times may also be adjusted as needed, depending on volume and staffing levels, staff members said.

- Walk-through up to three permits with plans at a time, up to a maximum of six same-day plan reviews per day, or
- Walk-through up to four permits without plans at a time, or
- Walk-through up to two mobile home set-up permits at a time
Anyone seeking to walk-through a permit will not be allowed to drop it off and return later in the day, according to staff members.
