Polk Deputies Search For Car Involved In Shooting

DAVENPORT, FL -- The Polk County Sheriff's Office is trying to find a car that was involved in a shooting incident Monday, April 23.

Around 7:30 a.m., deputies responded to a call of shots being fired on Haversham Way in Legacy Park off U.S. 27 in Davenport.

When they arrived, deputies could find no victims but did see evidence that shots were fired.

Deputies locked down the area and searched for the suspect with no luck.

The shooter is believed to be a Hispanic man driving a black, four-door car, possibly a Honda Acura, with tinted windows and chrome accents. The car did not have a tag.
