WINTER HAVEN, FL -- A Winter Haven man has been arrested for trying to hide his legless fugitive girlfriend in a plastic storage container.
Krystle Lee Anderson, 39, who is wanted in Orange County, was found in the home of her boyfriend, John Robert Carr, 48, concealed in a plastic storage bin.
A warrant was issued for Anderson's arrest for failing to appear in court on charges of armed kidnapping, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon on a law enforcement officer and false imprisonment.

The charges stem from a 2015 incident in which she reportedly held several people hostage at gunpoint inside a Burger King. Her firearm was later discovered to be a BB gun. The hostage situation led to Anderson getting shot by an Ococee Police officer and having both legs amputated.
On Tuesday, May 8, Polk County Sheriff's deputies received a tip that Anderson may be hiding at her boyfriend's house. When deputies arrived, Carr claimed Anderson wasn't there but deputies said they saw him put the 4 foot tall, 112-pound woman in a plastic storage bin without prosthetic legs in a bedroom of the home.
