The Shops and Streets are Open for July First Friday
The streets will remain open during July's First Friday festivities in Downtown Lakeland, which means all the fun, plus more parking.
The Downtown Lakeland Partnership has made some changes to the July 7 First Friday event in anticipation of wet weather.
The event still will take place rain or shine 6-9 p.m., but the streets will remain open.
Many businesses will offer refreshments and light fare in their shops and stores. The Classy Car Show and exhibitors won’t be part of this month’s festivities, but there will be lots of giveaways and fun for the entire family.
