Canceled Silver Alert For Lakeland Woman: Police

Polk County Sheriff's Office has canceled a Silver Alert that was issued for missing Lakeland Woman after she was found safe.

LAKELAND, FL — The Polk County Sheriff's Office has canceled the Silver Alert for 72-year-old Linda Diann Davis of 1224 Pine Bend Drive in Lakeland, said a news release.

Police said she was located on Wednesday, and is back safe in Polk County.

Davis, who has a health condition had not been seen since June 20, and was believed to have left from her home in the early morning hours of June 23.
