Small Plane Crash At Bartow Airport Leaves Several Dead: Sheriff
BREAKING: The twin-engine plane crash happened at the end of the runway at Bartow Municipal Airport.

BARTOW, FL — A twin engine plane crash on Christmas Eve at Bartow Municipal Airport in Bartow has left several people dead, authorities said.
The Polk County Sheriff's office said on Twitter that it and Polk firefighters were responding to the scene near the end of the runway at Ben Durrance Road and Bomber Road.
The Federal Aviation Administration and National Transportation Safety Board were headed to the scene. The Polk County Sheriff's office is investigating the deaths. Further details, including identities of the victims, weren't immediately released.
