Substitute Crossing Guards Needed In Winter Haven

WINTER HAVEN, FL — Local residents who are maybe retired or just want to help kids get to school safely, the Polk County Sheriff's Office is hiring men and women for substitute crossing guard in the Winter Haven area.

The substitute should be available to work for one hour in the morning and for 30 minutes in the afternoon when scheduled to work a crossing, the sheriff said.
