LAKELAND, FL -- No one was injured but traffic along Interstate 4 in Polk County was tied up for several hours this afternoon when a semi-tractor trailer truck lost control, jackknifed and overturned.
Jonathan P. Rehm, 27, of Pinellas Park was traveling west on I-4 near the 48 milepost on Thursday, June 21 at about 3:30 p.m. when two cars suddenly changed lanes in his path to exit onto County Road 557. Rehm tried to take evasive action to avoid a collision but ended up losing control of the truck, which rolled over in the center median.
