Woman Caught Stealing Puppy From Porch In Lakeland: Sheriff

The Polk County Sheriff's Office is asking the public to help deputies identify a woman accused of stealing a puppy from a home in Lakeland.

LAKELAND, FL — The Polk County Sheriff's Office is looking for a woman accused of stealing a puppy from a porch in Lakeland.

"Who steals a puppy off someone's porch? This woman did - in Lakeland on Sunday," the sheriff's office tweeted.

The sheriff's office has released surveillance video of the incident in hopes that someone might recognize the woman.

The video shows the woman standing outside a home before picking up the puppy and carrying it away.
