The Pasco County Sheriff’s Office has announced the arrest of three people in connection with a Wednesday morning home invasion and shooting in Land O’ Lakes.

According to the sheriff’s office, Lonnie Jones, 22, and two 17-year-old boys approached an apartment on My Lady Lane, knocked on the door and then stormed inside. The trio then confronted resident Taylor Ellis, an email to media from the agency stated.

“Lonnie Jones then pointed a firearm at the victim and stole his cellphone,” the email said.

The three suspects left the home at that time and got into their car. As they were leaving, Jones is accused of firing shot at Weaver, striking him in the shoulder. Weaver suffered an injury that is considered not life-threatening.
