3-Year-Old Riding Trike Killed By SUV In Land O' Lakes
A 3-year-old Land O' Lakes girl has died after being hit by an SUV.
LAND O' LAKES, FL -- A 3-year-old girl hit by an SUV while riding her tricycle has died at St. Joseph's Children's Hospital.
The accident occurred at 6:35 p.m. on Wednesday.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, Maged M. Yacoub, 39, of Land O' Lakes was backing a Nissan SUV out of a driveway at 17001 Torvest Court in Land O' Lakes when he collided with 3-year-old Remington Lily Solano who was riding a tricycle east on Torvest Court in the center of the road.

The child was taken by medical helicopter to St. Joseph's Children's Hospital. At 1:44 a.m., the FHP announced that the little girl had died.
Charges are pending against Yacoub.
