81-Year-Old Dade City Bicyclist Killed In U.S. 301 Crash
An 81-year-old Dade City man was killed Monday, July 9 in an accident at U.S. 301 and Jordan Road.

DADE CITY, FL β An 81-year-old Dade City man was killed Monday, July 9 in an accident at U.S. 301 and Jordan Road.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, Gerald Abrams, 69, of Dade City was driving his 2017 Chevrolet Cruze south in the inside lane of U.S. 301 shortly after 8 a.m. when 81-year-old Joseph Henry Mensenger, who was riding a bicycle, attempted to cross U.S. 301 just south of Jordan Road in front of the car.
The right front fender of the car collided with the bicyclist who was transported to Bayfront Health Dade City where he died of his injuries.
