Girls Travel Softball Team Seeks Players

In January 2012, a group of girls from Land O' Lakes joined together with a group from Wesley Chapel to form the Wesley Chapel WILD 8U Fastpitch Travel Softball Team. 

We participated in the NSA Winter League Tournament, our first game playing experience.  Over the next 3 months, we played in 3 weekend long tournaments, in which we made it to the championship game in all.  Our most trying was a weekend double elimination tournament.  The WILD girls fought from the bottom through 5 back to back games, over 7 hours and proudly took home the 2nd place trophy.  

The Wesley Chapel Wild is a travel softball organization intended to provide young girls in Wesley Chapel and the surrounding areas an opportunity to be part of an athletic organization dedicated to establishing an environment that will enhance player development and provide the framework to build a positive self-image as part of an athletic experience. 

We are looking for both dedicated and hardworking players born in 2003 and their families to join the Wesley Chapel Wild. Travel softball is a year-long comittment on both the player's part as well as the family. 

We will be holding open practices on July 17 & 19, 2012 from 6:30 - 8:00pm, followed by tryouts on 7/21 & 7/22 from 10:00pm - 12:30pm, each day.  These practices and tryouts will be held at the Wesley Chapel District Park, 7727 Boyette Road, Wesley Chapel, FL, 33544, field 6. Please come out and meet the coaches, players and families!
