The cash taken during the robbery was recovered, deputies say.

The Pasco County Sheriff’s Office has announced the arrest of a 37-year-old man in connection with a Tuesday morning bank robbery in Lutz.

Deputies say Keith Everett Sorrentino was found in Hillsborough County Tuesday afternoon. Sorrentino is accused of walking into the 21744 State Road 54 SunTrust bank around 9:30 a.m. Oct. 27 and demanding cash. Deputies say he indicated he had a gun.

Pasco deputies conducted a traffic stop on a green Dodge Journey believed to be connected to the crime around 4:30 p.m. Tuesday. The vehicle was traveling on Lutz Lake Fern Road, just west of Sunlake Boulevard, the agency wrote in an email to media.
