Arrest Made in Wesley Chapel Man's Murder
The Tampa teen was brought into custody in Polk County on Friday.

WESLEY CHAPEL, FL — The 17-year-old Tampa boy wanted in connection with the Dec. 30 shooting death of a Wesley Chapel man was arrested Friday in Polk County.
According to the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office, Kaliyah Ronell-Marquee Everett now faces first-degree felony murder, attempted armed robbery and two counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon charges. He is accused of shooting and killing Tysaiah Christopher Williams Donaldson, 19.
The agency was called to the 1700 block of University Woods Place in the Oak Bend Apartment Complex just after 7 p.m. on Dec. 30. When they arrived, they found Donaldson suffering from a gunshot wound. He was taken to a local hospital, but died from his injuries.

The investigation revealed that the victim and two witnesses were sitting outside an apartment when two men came to buy marijuana from the victim, an email from the agency stated. The witnesses told deputies one man looked at the marijuana while another pulled out a gun and told the victim to give it up or he would take it all.
At that point, Donaldson attempted to get away, but was shot in the chest, the email said.

Everett had not been booked into the Hillsborough County jail as of Friday afternoon.
