Beer Cans Litter I-75 After Bud Light Truck Crashes
All but one southbound lane near State Road 50 was closed.
A Bud Light truck driver distracted by man’s best friend lost control of the semi he was driving Tuesday morning, spilling suds on Interstate 75 in Hernando County.
The accident happened shortly after 8 a.m., affecting the southbound lanes, just south of State Road 50, the Florida Highway Patrol’s Sgt. Steve Gaskins.
Gaskins said the truck’s driver, Malcolm Jamal Wilcox, was distracted by his dog running off the roadway and then overcorrecting. The semi struck the center guardrail and overturned, spilling hundreds of beer cans into the median.
