Chicken Tender Restaurants? Really?

So Much Highway, So few good restaurants on it!

Ok, as a Baby Boomer, I have to say, I don't get it.

Of course I did not grow up in the "McNugget" era,

so I don't relate to Chicken strips, sections, tenders

or segments as a "meal" I'd run out for, but obviously the new PDQ

shops that are popping up all over the area prove me

wrong & that P.T BARNUM was right,

"There is a sucker born every minute!"

You walk into these chicken parts joints and immediately

want to turn around and go find some real food. There are

a very limited amount of meal choices on the smallish menu,

and sorry, I just don't trust a plate of fried "bits" and pieces.

No, not for me. This little Yuppie "chicken tenders" drive through is for

the younger crowd I guess. Not my style. I need REAL food, and local restaurants to start building along 54!

Now, when are they going to build places out here

that people want to go to? Something other then another

CHILIS or Bone Fish Grill would

be nice. I am tired of driving 15 miles in any direction to get a decent meal.

Enough Race Track Gas stations already! Build me a Food Mall!
