Misty is a playful 4-month-old domestic short-haired cat seeking a new home. She currently resides at Pasco County Animal Services with a host of other cats and dogs seeking lifelong human companions.

Animals services, 19640 Dogpatch Ln., is offering reduced-priced adoptions for a limited time. Cats, such as Misty, can be adopted for $20. Dogs, which normally cost $70 to adopt, are available for $35. The price of adopting includes spaying or neutering, a vet check, shots and more.

Adoption center hours are Tuesday and Wednesday from noon to 4:30 p.m., Thursday from noon to 6:30 p.m., and Friday and Saturday from noon to 4:30 p.m. The center is closed on holidays. For more information, call 813-929-1212.
