Benjamin said this year’s holiday lineup offers plenty of activities for the whole family. Here’s a peek at what’s going on:
- The North Pole mailbox – Cobb has a special mailbox set up for express delivery to the North Pole. Visitors can drop off their letters to Santa until Nov. 28. Pre-addressed letterhead can be picked up in the theater’s lobby.
- Santa’s Workshop – This special one-day event is set for Nov. 23 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. It includes a viewing of “Arthur Christmas,” crafts, games and lunch. The cost is $20. To reserve a space for this event, call the box office at 813-746-1363.
- The Christmas Fair – This community event takes place both inside and outside the theater Nov. 26 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. It will feature a variety of activities, including games and vendor displays from organizations such as local Boy Scout and Girl Scout troops. Santa and Build-A-Bear Workshop’s Bearemy also will make special guest appearances.
- Toys for Tots drop off – Cobb also is serving as a Toys for Tots collection location. Just stop by with a new, unwrapped gift to help youngsters in the Pasco area enjoy a merrier holiday season.
Benjamin said Cobb plays host to so many events to make sure residents know the theater and its staff members want to be involved in the community.
