Celebration of Lights Shines Through Jan. 3

The light show takes place at Safety Town at the Concourse.

Tampa Bay area residents looking for a little holiday cheer need only make a short drive to Spring Hill to take in the Celebration of Lights.

The holiday display features a one-mile trail that vehicle riders follow to see animated light displays as holiday music plays, according to a media release on the event. The route ends at Jingle Bell Junction, a holiday village that’s taken over Pasco County’s Safety Town. At the junction, visitors can enjoy entertainment, get their photos taken with Santa and more.

“Celebration of Lights is the vision of Dave Parris, a West Pasco community leader who passed away in August,” the release stated. “He worked tirelessly over the last five years to develop plans for what he dreamed would one day be a cherished holiday tradition for families across Tampa Bay, while benefitting local charitable organizations.”
