Cops: Lutz Woman Embezzled $119,000

She's accused of taking the money from the property management company that employed her.

A 46-year-old Lutz woman faces grand theft charges after Pasco County deputies say she took more than $119,000 from her employer over the course of two years.

According to a complaint affidavit, Kimberley Sadie Rogers Dixon was arrested Wednesday following an investigation that was launched when employer Lorie “Michelle” Pentifallo notified deputies of the theft. Pentifallo is the owner of First In Real Estate Services Inc. That company specializes in property management services.

Dixon was responsible for collecting rent and overseeing payment of such fees as pet deposits and security deposits, the report stated. She was also charged with ensuring clients received their money from rent.

Bank records indicated that Dixon rerouted rent checks to her personal account, the affidavit stated. In addition, she is accused of altering money orders to name herself as the payee. All told, the affidavit stated, she is accused of taking $119,590.13.

Following her arrest, “Dixon admitted to stealing the money and claims to have repaid some funds,” the affidavit stated.

Dixon was booked into the Pasco County Jail on a charge of grand theft over $100,000. She was released in lieu of $50,000 bond.
