Couple Found Dead Along Zephyrhills Road Identified

ZEPHYRHILLS, FL — The Pasco County Sheriff’s Office has identified the man and woman whose bodies were discovered off Wright Lane in Zephyrhills Thursday morning.

According to the agency, deputies were called around 6:30 a.m. Thursday about a possible double fatality near Handcart Road. When they arrived, they found Michael Hall’s body outside of a car. His wife, Lynda, 53, was found dead from an apparent gunshot wound. Her body was found inside the couple’s car.

Michael Hall, an email from the sheriff’s office said, “used a shotgun to shoot his wife and then turned the gun on himself.” Investigators say the 56-year-old man may have been driven to the act due to financial troubles, the email noted.

No further information is being released at this time.
