DUI Wolfpack Set To Roam Several Counties
Troopers plan to target roads in Pasco, Hillsborough, Polk and Hernando counties during the one-night operation.
LAND O’ LAKES, FL — Motorists with plans to kick off their weekends a little early might want to consider designating a driver.
The Florida Highway Patrol has announced a one-night DUI Wolfpack operation. The patrol’s Land O’ Lakes sub-district is heading up the multi-county crackdown starting at 10 p.m. Thursday, April 28. Troopers will be out in force until about 3 a.m. Friday.
The operation will focus on the Suncoast Parkway, Veterans Expressway and Polk Parkway. That means motorists in Pasco, Hillsborough, Hernando and Polk counties are all likely to noticed enhanced enforcement.

“Everyone is reminded to not drink and drive and plan in advance for events where alcoholic beverages are consumed by utilizing designated drivers, taxi services or holding events where driving is not necessary,” the patrol wrote in an email to media.
Motorists who encounter impaired drivers on the road are always encouraged to call FHP at *FHP.
