On June 11th the Leadership Council will raise much needed funds for RAP House (Runaway Alternatives Project) which has supported this runaway and youth crisis shelter with this special event since 2008! Last year there were 1,020 participants! This is now one of the best running events in the area.
Your support allows YFA programs and services to serve youth in a very meaningful way in 2011. We believe that local businesses and organizations that step up, as you have, show true leadership and are literally investing in the future of our local community.
We know that the best type of investment is one that will have lasting and positive change. This year’s race will again include several “graduates” who spent time at RAP House as teenagers when they needed a real helping hand. The shelter started in1982 in a house in Hudson.
