Experimental Plane Crashes, Pilot Seriously Injured
FAA will be investigating the crash. Man flown to Tampa General Hospital, according to Hernando County Fire and Rescue.
A pilot has serious injuries after the crash of an experimental plane in a wooded area near Brooksville-Tampa Bay Regional Airport.
First responders arrived at the scene at 10:37 a.m., according to Hernando County Fire Rescue.
The pilot, 63, was found standing near the burning wreckage. He was flown to Tampa General Hospital with serious injuries.
