Heritage Church Has A New Home
The church has relocated from Carson Road to 1854 Oak Grove Blvd., but the pastor's focus on families remains the same.
Location. Location. Location.
An important factor for any successful business or restaurant, location is also one of the main reasons Pastor David and Natalie Bamberry decided to move Heritage Church from Carson Road, where they had been meeting for the past seven years, to the Oak Grove Plaza off of State Road 54. Another reason for the relocation is the newer, larger facility that offers more room for their 250-member congregation, children’s and student ministries, small groups, and recovery groups.
David Bamberry is a 1982 Rhema Bible Training Center graduate who has been in ministry for 25 years — first as a youth pastor and associate pastor at a church in Lutz and then as pastor of Heritage Church, which he founded 15 years ago.

Heritage Church’s new storefront site is two miles from their future home, the as-yet undeveloped property on the northwest corner of Collier Parkway and Livingston, where they hope to permanently settle in about five years.
In the meantime, David plans to continue what he’s been doing, offering hope to the community in good times and bad.

“We’re a family church,” he explains, “and by ‘family’ I mean all aspects of family life — whether you’re married, single, a single parent, divorced, widowed, a blended family, a teenager or child. Families aren’t perfect. Being there during the good, the bad, and the ugly of family life is what our church is all about.”
First-time visitors can expect contemporary worship with a full band and a practical, Bible-based message. The church also offers classes for children—newborn through high school. The Bamberrys are confident that people of all ages with varying interests will find a place to belong at Heritage Church.
Regular services times are Sundays at 10 a.m. and Wednesdays at 7 p.m. The church will host special Easter services on April 24 at 9 and 11 a.m.; children will hunt for eggs in the courtyard at 10:30 a.m. For more information about various programs and special events, go online at YesHeritage.com or call 813-909-4080. The church's address is 1854 Oak Grove Blvd.
