Huge Indoor Yard Sale to Benefit Pediatric Cancer Research

Lawrence A. Martucci Benefit Corp, a nonprofit organization based in Tampa, is hosting its Third Annual Huge Charity Yard Sale this weekend.

All proceeds will benefit pediatric cancer research through 1Voice Foundation and Children’s Cancer Research Group.

Volunteers with L.A.M.B. have been collecting donations of furniture, housewares, clothing, books, toys, sporting equipment and appliances for the last several months. There will be truckloads of these items delivered to the Wellswood Civic Center, an indoor rental facility run, and graciously donated by the Wellswood Civic Association. Shoppers can arrive as early as 8 a.m. on Friday, September 5 for the best selection.

This is L.A.M.B.’s third annual yard sale fundraiser. Previous yard sales took place in Carrollwood, but a new location was sought out due to last year’s large turnout. Committee members voted to make the 2014 yard sale a two-day event after receiving an abundance of donations from supporters throughout the Tampa Bay area.

When: Friday, September 5, 2014, 8am-1pm and Saturday, September 6, 2014, 8am-12:30pm

This will be an INDOOR event, so no worrying about the weather!!

L.A.M.B. has committee members and supporters right here in Land O’ Lakes, and is hoping to extend its reach throughout Pasco County. Take a little drive to Tampa this weekend, find a new treasure, and help support pediatric cancer research!
