Here's a look at the schedule of events at the Land O' Lakes Branch Library, 2818 Collier Pky., for the week of Nov. 8-12:
- Tuesday, Nov. 8 – The Teen Advisory Board meets at 6 p.m. This group enables teens to get involved in the library while earning community service hours for school.
- Wednesday, Nov. 9 – A Basic Computer Skills class is set for 10 a.m. and Acrylics with Laurie meets at 10:30 a.m.
- Thursday, Nov. 10 – GED classes are being offered at noon. Baby storytime takes place at 11:30 a.m. and again at 2:30 p.m.
- Friday, Nov. 11 – The library is closed in observance of Veterans Day.
- Saturday, Nov. 12 – The beginning Japanese class meets at 3 p.m.
