Lutz Man Accused Of Robbing Ex-Girlfriend

The accused reportedly used an air-powered gun and pepper spray to subdue former girlfriend so he could steal the cash in her bedroom.

LUTZ, FLβ€”A Lutz man is in custody today after reportedly tying up, pepper spraying and stealing $2,000 from his former girlfriend.

According to the Pasco County Sheriff’s Office, Patrick Lee Forte Jr., 52, of 20030 Valdez Lane, Lutz, is accused of forcing his way into his former girlfriend’s bedroom on Sunday, Dec. 3. He then reportedly used an air-powered gun and pepper spray to subdue her so he could steal the cash in her bedroom.

When questioned by detectives, Forte admitted to the crime. He was charged with armed robbery and taken to the Land O’ Lakes Detention Facility.
