Man Accused Of Helping Self To Gift Card Funds At Walmart
When the cashier told the accused to swipe his gift card, he reportedly reached over the counter and pushed the register's payment button.

LAND Oβ LAKES, FLβA 20-year-old Tampa man is facing multiple charges after reportedly robbing a Walmart cashier while in the storeβs checkout lane.
According to the Dade City Police Department, Cezzario Enrique Nottingham of 1701 Julian Lane, Tampa, entered the Dade City Walmart at 12650 U.S. 301 Wednesday afternoon and asked a cashier to load $300 onto a gift card he produced. When the cashier told him to swipe his card to pay for the $300, Nottingham reached over the counter and hit the cash payment button on the register, loading the card himself without paying, according to the Dade City Police.
Police say Nottingham then walked out of the store with the $300 gift card and a bottle of Gatorade.

Nottingham was arrested a short time later as he and a companion were driving through the intersection of Clinton Avenue and Fort King Road. A search of the car revealed a baggie containing four rocks of cocaine totaling .8 grams. Nottingham also tested positive for cocaine. He was charged with retail grand theft and cocaine possession, and was transported to the Land Oβ Lakes Detention Center.
