Man Ran Over Motorcycle With Riders On It, Troopers Say (Video)
The Florida Highway Patrol has arrested a man in the hit-and-run incident in Pasco County.

LUTZ, FL — A 31-year-old man faces a long list of charges after he reportedly ran over a motorcycle on U.S. 41 Monday evening, knocking its two riders to the ground.
Robert Paul Vance was booked into the Land O’ Lakes Jail after the Monday incident that occurred near the intersection of U.S. 41 and County Line Road around 5:30 p.m. The incident was caught video by a motorist.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, Vance faces aggravated battery and hit and run charges in the crash. He was also charged for being a habitual traffic offender.
The incident reportedly involved a dispute between Vance and the motorcyclists. Vance, the highway patrol said, ran over the bike, knocking its male driver and female passenger to the ground. Both were treated for minor injuries at the scene, but Vance fled.

Abe Garcia recorded the incident on a cellphone camera and shared it with the Florida Highway Patrol. He also posted it to his own Facebook page.
Garcia told WFLA the people on the bike were veterans.
No further information is available at this time, including the names of the people struck. The highway patrol has not yet released a final report on the incident.
