Wesley Chapel Republican Club welcomes author and blogger Javier Manjarres to their March 12th meeting. Javier launched the influential conservative political web site Shark Tank in 2009. He is known for his intuitive fearless perspective and “biting commentary on anyone and anything that comprises Florida Politics.” Among Javier’s truly notable successes is the influential role he played in Senator Marco Rubio’s 2010 stunning defeat over Charlie Crist. In his new book “Brown People: Hispanic Politics and the Disunited State of Amigos,” Javier reveals an entertaining personal perspective on voting trends and political views associated with America’s Hispanic community. Javier Manjarres’ astute commentary and video content has been featured on a variety of media outlets including Fox News, CNN, NBC, ABC, and The Wall Street Journal. He is a regular guest commentator on several local and national radio television networks including the Spanish-language network Univision, as well as being a regular contributor on NewsmaxTV. Javier will sign copies of his new book beginning at 6:00 pm. The Wesley Chapel Republican Club meets at Hyundai of Wesley Chapel, 27000 Wesley Chapel Boulevard, Wesley Chapel, Florida, 33544 on the second Thursday of each month at 7:00 pm.
