Land O' Lakes Man Fatally Shot By Neighbor
The Pasco County Sheriff's Office is investigating a shooting death at a home on Belcher Lane in Land O' Lakes.
LAND O' LAKES, FL -- The Pasco County Sheriff's Office is investigating a shooting death at a home on Belcher Lane in Land O' Lakes.
According to deputies, Marci Ryner, 51, of 8000 Belcher Lane called 911 at 9:12 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 19, after being involved in a domestic violence incident with William Rogers, 55, who lives at the same address.
Ryner fled to the home of neighbor Brian Scruggs, 50, at 8010 Belcher Lane. A few moments later, Rogers entered Scruggs' home without permission. Scruggs confronted him and asked him to leave several times. When Rogers refused, Scruggs shot and killed him.
