Pasco Deputies Turn Wranglers To Catch Horse On US 19

Shortly before 8 a.m., Jan. 24, deputies spotted an errant horse running north on U.S. 19 in the Hudson area.

HUDSON, FL – It’s one thing to catch criminals, but on Wednesday, Jan. 24, Pasco County Sheriff’s deputies were tasked with catching a fugitive horse.

Shortly before 8 a.m., deputies spotted an errant horse running north on U.S. 19 in the Hudson area.

They decided not to horse around with the chance the frightened animal might be hit by a car on the busy highway. They contacted the sheriff's agricultural unit and, together, deputies managed to safely corral the wayward mount into a subdivision along Emerald Ridge Drive.
