Pasco Schools Releasing Kids Early As Tropical Storm Colin Nears
Buses will begin picking students up for rides home at 10:30 a.m. on Monday.

PASCO COUNTY, FL — As Tropical Storm Colin bears down on the Tampa Bay area, Pasco County Schools has announced it is letting students go home early Monday.
The district announced early dismissal in phone calls to parents and on its Facebook page. The decision was based on the latest information provided by the Pasco County Emergency Operations Center.
“Wind gusts could be as high as 70 mph at times and there likely will be heavy rain beginning at 3 p.m.,” the district wrote on Facebook. “This is much different than the information we had when we made the decision to keep school open today.”
