Pasco Sheriff: 'Nazi Tony' Goes To Jail

The Pasco County Sheriff's Office arrested a man known as "Nazi Tony" after he lied to deputies about being mugged by eight people.

LAND O’ LAKES, FL – The Pasco County Sheriff’s Office arrested a man known as “Nazi Tony” after he lied to deputies about being mugged by eight people.

The man calling himself Nazi Tony told deputies he was walking in the woods near 24703 State Road 52 in Land O’ Lakes on Tuesday, March 27, when he was mugged.

Deputies discovered that Nazi Tony’s real name is Anthony Rushford. The 39-year-old is wanted for armed trespassing, felony possession of a firearm, armed burglary, fleeing to elude and resisting without violence.

When confronted with this information, Rushford admitted that he wasn’t really mugged. He was simply running from the sheriff’s deputies.

Inside Rushford's duffle bag, deputies found several stolen items including a .22-caliber pistol.
