Pasco Sheriff Seeks Information In Wesley Chapel Armed Robberies

The Pasco County Sheriff's Office is investigating two armed robberies in Wesley Chapel that appear to be related.

WESLEY CHAPEL, FL – The Pasco County Sheriff’s Office is investigating two armed robberies in Wesley Chapel that appear to be related.

On Thursday night, Feb. 8, a man walked into the Citgo convenience store at 29741 State Road 54, Wesley Chapel, just as the store was closing. He held up a gun and demanded money from the clerk. He then fled and may have gotten into a vehicle driven by an accomplice.

That same night, a man entered the Best Western at 5539 Oakley Blvd., Wesley Chapel, and, once again, pointed a gun at the clerk and demanded money. When the clerk hesitated, the robber fired a shot over the clerk’s head. He then fled with the money to a waiting car.

In both robberies, the armed man was wearing dark clothing, a mask and gloves.
