Pasco Sheriff Seeks Tips On Robbery Attempt In Wesley Chapel
The Pasco County Sheriff's Office is searching for two men who attempted to rob a Wesley Chapel Circle K/Shell gas station.
WESLEY CHAPEL, FL -- The Pasco County Sheriff's Office is searching for two men who attempted to rob a Wesley Chapel Circle K/Shell gas station at 1:35 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 21.
According to the sheriff's office, one man entered the convenience store at 27707 Wesley Chapel Blvd. and walked behind the counter where he encountered two clerks who told him he wasn't supposed to be there. Ignoring them, the would-be robber pushed past the clerks to gain access to a cabinet behind the counter.
While this was occurring, a second man entered the store and gave the first man directions on opening the cabinet. However, he was unsuccessful. Both men left without money or property and got into separate vehicles, a red four-door sedan and a gray sports utility vehicle. They took off on Wesley Chapel Boulevard toward Interstate 75. The clerks did not see any weapons.

One man is described as black with shoulder-length dreadlocks. He was wearing a long-sleeved black shirt, khaki shorts and slider-style shoes. He appears to be in his late to mid 20s.
The second man is black. He used a long-sleeved red hoodie pulled tightly around his face to hide his identity. He wore black basketball shorts and black shoes.
