Pasco SWAT Team Called In After Man Threatens To Shoot Mother
The Pasco County Sheriff's SWAT team assisted Dade City Police in arresting a man who is accused of threatening his mother with a gun.

DADE CITY, FL – The Pasco County Sheriff’s SWAT team assisted Dade City Police Thursday night, Feb.. 15, in arresting a man who is accused of threatening his mother with a gun.
According to the sheriff’s office, SWAT responded to a home at 37154 Goldenrod Court, Dade City, after Mario Alvarez, 28, got into an argument with his mother. The mother said her son pointed a pistol at her and attempted to shoot her but the gun did not fire.
When SWAT arrived, Alvarez had locked the doors and barricaded himself in the home with his mother. SWAT broke in and found him hiding in the attic.
