ODESSA, FL – The Pasco County Sheriff’s Office is on the lookout for a intrepid thief who got away with 22,000 pounds of heavy machinery from a construction site.

According to the sheriff’s office, sometime during the late night hours of April 1 or early morning of April 2, someone absconded with a track loader and a mini-excavator worth $105,000 from the South Branch Ranch subdivision that’s currently under construction at 15933 State Road 54 in Odessa.

Deputies believe that someone knowledgeable about heavy machinery loaded the John Deere 323E compact track loader and the Kobelco 35SR mini-excavator onto a trailer and towed the equipment away.
