Photo Gallery: Sunlake Seahawks At The SAC Championships

While there are 12 schools in District 7, more than 20 attended the Sunshine Athletic Conference Championships. If you blow out your field at the SAC, you are plenty good enough to set yourself up for regionals.

That’s just what senior Joel Fauntleroy did Friday afternoon. Fauntleroy dominated boys hurdles. He blasted out of the blocks in the 110m, won his heat and won the final in 15:36 seconds. He got a terrible start in the 300m hurdles and still recovered to take first place in 42:31 seconds.

Fauntleroy was not the only Seahawk making waves during the event. There were several others. Click through the gallery to see other outstanding performances from April 8's tournament.
