Saint Leo Brings 'Ordinary Days' to the Local Stage

Students from the Pasco County university have scheduled five show dates.

Fans of musical theater and scenic drives can enjoy a little of both as Opus Fides of Saint Leo University brings “Ordinary Days” to its stage.

The show appeals to people who find themselves “struggling to appreciate the simple things in a complex world,” according to a media release from the university. It centers on Deb, a graduate student, in the days after she loses the notes for her thesis. That loss sparks a chain of events that turns ordinary days into extraordinary ones.

The original musical with music and lyrics by Adam Gwon is about “growing up and enjoying the view,” the release stated.
