Update: Man Shot, Killed at Land O' Lakes Bar Identified

A man shot outside the Rock Harley Saloon in Land O’ Lakes Sunday night has died from his injuries, according to the Pasco County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies were called to the 2624 Land O’ Lakes Blvd. bar around 9:14 p.m. in regard to a “man down,” an email to media from the agency stated. When authorities arrived, they found the man with a gunshot wound to the upper body at the bar. The man was airlifted to a local hospital for treatment, but died early Monday morning.

Deputies have identified the man as Billy Lee McDaniel, 44.

The investigation is ongoing and deputies are not releasing further information at this time.
