Splash Into Summer

When school’s out and the heat is on, the Land O’ Lakes Recreation Complex swimming pool is the cool place to be.

The pool’s regular season officially kicks off June 2 and runs through Aug. 19. But, the community is invited to go for a swim Memorial Day weekend, when the pool will be open to adults only from 11 a.m. to noon and to everyone from noon to 7 p.m. on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday, May 28-30.

Regular season operating hours will be Tuesday through Sunday, starting June 2. The pool is closed on Mondays for maintenance except on holidays.

Tuesday-Friday:

• Adults Only (18 & older), 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
• All Swim, 12:30 to 7 p.m.

Saturday-Sunday:

• Adults Only, 11 a.m. to noon
• All Swim, noon to 7 p.m.

The Recreation Complex charges nominal admission fees. Daily admission for a child (2-17) is $2 per day. Adults are $3 per day.

Patrons can opt to purchase a season pass: a Child Pass is $50 per season; an Adult Pass costs $70 a season; and a Family Pass (which includes 4 members, or $20 for each additional member) is $100 per season.

Discount cards for multiple admissions, swim lessons, and special night swims are also available.

Additionally, the pool may be rented for private parties; those interested should contact the Aquatic Supervisor for availability and pricing.
