The Sunlake Seahawks have done it again. They have bested yet another team that typically dominates the county.
On Tuesday night, Feb. 8, the Seahawks traveled to Pasco and beat them on their own field to the tune of 2-1. Jordan Landry scored his 51st and likely most important goal of the year.
Pasco and Land O’ Lakes combined to pin three losses on Sunlake this season. Since then, the Seahawks have beat them in order to advance to the Regional Finals for the first time in school history.

Head Coach Sam Koleduk, the only head coach in Sunlake’s brief history said before the game, “We always play Pasco really tough.”
Even Coach Koleduk has to be pleasantly surprised to find himself with a chance to go to state’s championship.

The Seahawks will travel to the Orlando area to visit the Celebration Storm tonight, Feb. 11. The game starts at 7 p.m. as Sunlake will look to extend its improbable post-season run.
