Video Shows Possible Suspects in Auto Theft Spree
A number of cars in the Meadow Pointe area were broken into recently.
The Pasco County Sheriff’s Office has released a video of a vehicle that may have been used by the suspects in a recent auto burglary spree in the Wesley Chapel area.
The spree took place overnight Wednesday and resulted in three vehicles being stolen and a number of others being broken into.
According to the agency, the vehicles that were stolen all had keys inside. They were parked on Crooked Stick Court, Dawn’s Break Point and Openfield Loop.

A total of 12 auto burglaries were also reported in Meadow Pointe One. All of the targeted vehicles had unlocked doors. Another four auto burglaries occurred in Northwood Palms, off Sea Breeze Way and Caladesi Drive. Again, the vehicles were left unlocked.
The final burglary occurred in The Lakes at Northwood off Yardley Drive. The targeted vehicle in that case was also unlocked.

Investigators say three young men were seen in the area around 2:45 a.m. Thursday. A witness saw them stealing one of the cars.
A video of a possible suspect vehicle was released on Friday by the sheriff’s office.
