Wesley Chapel Man Charged In Murder Of Live-In Girlfriend
Recently, a Pasco County grand jury indicted the Wesley Chapel man for the 2-year-old murder and Pasco deputies took him into custody.
WESLEY CHAPEL, FL β Pasco Sheriffβs detectives have arrested a Wesley Chapel man for the murder of his live-in girlfriend two years ago.
Patrick Whyte, 35, of 30250 Sunset Lane, is charged with first-degree murder in the death of Kristen Moon July 27, 2015.
According to witnesses, Whyte and Moon were at the Hyde Park CafΓ© in Tampa when he suddenly grabbed Moon and threw her into his car. As he drove away, witnesses say they heard him yelling at her and saw him beating her.

Later that evening, Pasco Fire Rescue and sheriffβs deputies were called Whyte's home where they found Moon unconscious, injured and bleeding on the ground. She was taken to the hospital where she died the following day.
Whyte told deputies that she sustained her injuries when she fell out of his car. However, the medical examinerβs reported showed she had fractures to the vertebrae, skull and ribs as well as multiple hemorrhages in her head. Moonβs death was ruled a homicide.

Recently, a Pasco County grand jury indicted Whyte for the murder and Pasco deputies took him into custody Thursday, Jan. 11.
