What to Expect During Biden’s Visit

Land O’ Lakes motorists might be in for a bumpy ride this afternoon as Vice President Joe Biden makes his way into town.

Biden is expected to speak at the Oakstead Elementary School campus around 12:30 p.m. today, Oct. 4. As his motorcade makes its way to the school, a few road closings are anticipated.

While the official details of the Vice President’s route were not available, White House officials said it was likely Lake Patience Road and Oakstead Boulevard would be closed before his arrival and at his departure time. With that in mind, they were recommending anyone with business at the school make their way there well in advance of Biden's anticipated lunchtime arrival.
